Our Team

     Michael McDougal is the founding pastor of Shalom Hill Church. He desires to establish the church with a solid biblical foundation based on the faithful exposition of the Word of God. His vision is to see a multi-cultural church emphasizing discipleship and holistic Christian living. His passion is to train men and women for ministry worldwide while meeting the spiritual needs of the local community. 
      Michael is pursuing graduate studies in Biblical Studies with an emphasis in Old Testament Studies. He has served as youth pastor, church planter, and senior pastor of a church in Minneapolis, Kansas, before moving back to Minnesota, where he lives with his family. Michael enjoys gardening, cooking, reading, fishing, and sports in his free time.
